The society

The ASD Galatletica dream team is a company born on 23 September 2016 from the passion of the President prof. Leonardo Maccagnano, his son Ivan (Technical Director) and Franco Navone, with the vision of promoting the practice of athletics at a youth, absolute and amateur level.

The suffix "Gala" indicates the municipality of belonging (Galatina) while "dream team" means the mission of training technically good athletes but above all educating individuals who can enhance themselves through sport. Our commitment at all levels (provincial, regional and national) and on all fronts (on the track, indoor and outdoor, in cross-country running, in the mountains and on the road), has allowed us in a few years to establish ourselves among the best realities of Salento and Puglia both at a youthful and absolute level.
